Safe and Secure

The safety of our children is our absolute priority. We have designed our nurseries to be open plan environments divided by low-level partitions. This ensures that staff work in a coordinated manner across all age groups, and everyone can see each other at all times, helping protect both children and staff. Toilets and nappy changing areas have large glass windows to ensure children are monitored and protected all of the time. We also have constant CCTV recording (for internal use only) and electronic door access control systems.

All staff employed in our nurseries undergo extensive reference checks and clearance from the Criminal Records Bureau. New staff are introduced to our best practices in childcare and are shadowed by a senior member of staff during their introductory stage. Staff are also required to learn all our policies and procedures, and receive ongoing training in best childcare practices, health and safety matters and first aid.
