Living Eggs Chick Hatching Programme

Over the Easter period the nursery took delivery of an icubator and some eggs. The children, parents and staff were very exctied to see the eggs arrive and watch the eggs closely each day, waiting for cracks to appear. They were thrilled when the eggs started to hatch and we transfered the chicks to the brooder box. Soon they were ready to come out of the box and be handled. 

The experience of having the chicks in the nursery has not only enhance their learning but has provided lasting memories too!
