Alex Thompson, BPhil Early Childhood Studies, Advanced Diploma In Childcare, OFSTED Inspector

Our owner, Alex Thompson has over 20 years experience in childcare, a Bachelor of Philosophy in Early Childhood Studies and an Advanced diploma in Childcare and Education.
During her time in childcare she has managed a number of nurseries, inspected over 150 nurseries nation-wide for Ofsted and worked as an assessor for students studying for qualifications in childcare.

Alex works as the Human Resource Manager /Quality Control Co-ordinator, ensuring our nurseries stay at the forefront of latest and best childcare practices. Alex also works closely with the local authority. She sits on the board for the Early Years Partnership and Early Years Training Committee and furthermore, she even finds the time to be a school governor!

Peter Thompson, BA (Hons), Dip.M, MCIM
Peter used his degree in ‘Design & Technology’ to design an open plan nursery, based on Alex’s vast knowledge in childcare best practices. The nursery design incorporates all the best features seen in other nurseries from all over the country. Peter continues to maintain and improve the existing provisions and ensuring they remain in excellent order.
